On December 27 at 2:00 PM, a special piano recital will take place at Morningstar Senior Living at River Oaks in Houston, Texas.

This concert is a free community performance, offered with love and respect to residents, families, and staff.

The recital will feature students and the teacher from Dr. Shen Piano Studio, coming together to share beautiful piano music across generations.

This event is organized by Sound of Sound, a nonprofit, volunteer-based organization dedicated to bringing live classical music into the community—especially to senior living centers, hospitals, and public spaces.

Through music, we hope to create moments of joy, connection, and emotional warmth.

Live piano music has a unique ability to evoke memories, calm the mind, and touch the heart. For seniors, these shared moments can be deeply meaningful—not only as entertainment, but as genuine human connection.
